EMRS to take on 5 Ferry Challenge

7496163160_30a863d100_zNews in from our colleagues at the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service in Glasgow… on Saturday 30th August 2014 a group of their budding cyclists will take part in the Five Ferry Challenge.  This route begins in Ardrossan, and uses five of Calmac’s ferry routes (with some cycling in between) to cover Arran, Kintyre, Cowal and Bute – ending in Wemyss Bay.

They are keen to invite others to join them either for the event, or for one of the legs of the challenge. The route is likely to involve the following travel times:

10:40 Brodick – Lochranza (14miles)

12:30 Clonaig – Tarbert (10miles)

14:40 Portavadie – Colintraive (19miles)

18:05 Rhuboddach – Rothesay (8miles)
