Ness of Hillswick

Ness of Hillswick

Hillswick Medical Practice, Shetland. Salaried ‘Associate’ GP for 26 weeks throughout year available again – £60,000 and plenty opportunity for locums, or just chill!

We are a friendly, patient-centred, singlehanded ex training practice who require an enthusiastic GP We are passionate about undergraduate training and demonstrating what a good option rural / single handed practice can be.

We have good community links and work well as a team. You will have patients who will truly appreciate your call.. This is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic friendly, flexible doctor, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, great team work, ability to share the care and a good sense of humour.

We would hope you might be, or could become keen on GP training in the future. But we are prepared to wait for the right person as we know that this post won’t suit everyone. The surgery is set above a beach of perfect white sand, and the view from the consulting room is probably the best in Britain.

The weather can be hell but the scenery is to die for! We don’t have the same rain as the rest of Scotland, nor the midges, and where else in Britain are there ponies that dance?

If you are interested please phone Susan, or Sean who will tell it like it is..

Develop skills or a special interest and plenty of opportunities for locums or OOH sessions locally. Small very friendly supportive practice.  This would suit someone at the start of their career, or maybe someone looking for a change in direction.

We are a paper light ex trainng practice who regularly take undergraduates now.
