Salaried General Practitioners (Salary : £73,370- £83,617)

Full-time / Part-time (flexible working)

We are looking for GPs to work in North West Sutherland as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing in hours and out of hours care.

This exciting opportunity will see you play an instrumental part in the development of the multi-disciplinary team model to provide excellent, high quality, patient-centred primary care services.

You will be based in Durness but working across a number of other locations including Kinlochbervie and Scourie. You will play a key role as part of an integrated team which includes another salaried GP, Nurses, AHP’s, Pharmacists and administrative staff, as well as staff from the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The team covering Durness, Kinlochbervie and Scourie provide Out of Hours cover during the week, with on-call shared by members of the team.   At the weekends Out of Hours cover is provided by the NHS Highland Out of Hours service with sessions available.

We are happy to consider any variations in working pattern, from full-time or part-time to rota/shift work (eg. week on/week off), and will consider applications from new and experienced doctors. ‘Golden Hello’ incentives and relocation packages are also available to eligible candidates. Locum work is also available in the area
